From the first December snows to the last April ski runs, Les 2 Alpes are rolling out a particularly packed calendar for the 2026-2027 winter. An electro festival, a night trail run, a derby stretching over 13 kilometres, the return of mountain biking and even stand-up comedy at over 3,000 metres will punctuate a season open until 2 May.
Hardly has the resort opened when music will take possession of the station. From 5 to 12 December, Rise Festival will return to Les 2 Alpes for a twelfth edition.
More than 7,000 British festival-goers are expected for a week combining skiing, live concerts, DJ sets, yoga and outdoor experiences. The event has established itself as one of the major electronic music festivals held in the mountains in Europe.
The atmosphere will then change as the festivities approach. Illuminated parades on the «Magic Avenue», torchlit descents, shows, musical entertainment, fireworks and meetings with Christmas characters are set to accompany the year-end holidays in the resort's streets.
January between young champions and night trail running
The 9th and 10th January, it's time for the Tout Schuss Cup. Organised in partnership with the Les Deux Alpes Ski Club, the competition is for under-12s and aims to spotlight the young skiers destined to become the champions of tomorrow.
A week later, a complete change of scenery. The 16 January, nearly 2,000 runners are expected for the fourteenth edition of the Lights of the Muzelle. This nocturnal snow trail offers several formats, from 11 to 42 kilometres, with departures from Vallée Blanche at an altitude of 2,100 metres. Snow, cold and darkness make up the playground for this event, which has become one of the flagship fixtures of winter trail running.

Following a quieter February in the schedule announced by the destination, events will resume at the end of March. The 28 March, the Venosc Climb Challenge will offer twelve hours to tackle the famous path linking the valley to the resort as many times as possible.
Here, there is no traditional ranking or search for the best time: everyone tries first and foremost to push their own limits. In 2026, the women's record was raised to twelve ascents, compared to fourteen for the men.
Stand-up at over 3,000 metres
April will concentrate a good deal of the season's most original events. The Comedy Festival 2 will return for a second edition on a date yet to be confirmed. Its unique feature remains unchanged: setting up comedians right up in the heights of the estate.
Shows are being announced in high-altitude restaurants, on panoramic terraces and even inside the Jandri cabins. It is a way for stand-up comedy to take to stages at over 3,000 metres.
Le 10th April, skis will take over with the second edition of the’Arès Ride, the Derby des 2 Alpes. The main event promises a descent of more than 13 kilometres between altitudes of 3,400 and 1,650 metres, open to both competitors and the general public.
Skis and mountain bikes cross paths at the end of the season
The same weekend will perfectly illustrate the unique nature of spring in Les 2 Alpes. The 10th and 11th April, the Black Garden Party will mark the pre-opening of the Bike Park. Amateur and professional riders will be able to enjoy the Black Garden black run and the Venosc descent, even while skiing continues at higher altitudes.
Finally, from 23rd to 25th April, the youngest will take over the Toura snowpark with the Micro Kids. This competition, presented as the only one in France entirely dedicated to snowboarders aged 5 to 11, will bring together young riders from all over Europe for a twelfth edition.
One final sequence that will lead directly to the ultimate days of the winter season, scheduled until 2nd May 2027, before ski touring and spring activities take over.
