In Aux 2 Alpes, the 2026-2027 season will begin on November 28 with several new features, both on the slopes and in the resort itself. Modernization of the Champamé snow front, development of the Ski Safe system, the arrival of the E-Trott-Rider, and new gastronomic addresses: the Isère destination is evolving its offer ahead of a winter that will stretch until May 2.
No runway plan revolution this winter at 2 Alps, But a series of evolutions aimed at improving the experience of holidaymakers. From the ski area to the good restaurants, several changes will accompany the return of skiers starting from late November.
The first one will be visible on the snowfield of Champamé, where the historic ski lift must be replaced. The stated goal is twofold: to improve comfort and streamline the slopes, while also making it safer for beginners and families to learn to ski.
Champamé evolves, Ski Safe takes on a larger scale
This season, however, no new course will be introduced. Efforts will focus in particular on developing Ski Safe, a device that is already present on the site and is set to become increasingly important.

A dozen first responders make up the team specifically mobilized for this initiative, in addition to the 77 professionals present in the sector. Their role is not limited to emergency interventions: education, awareness-raising and flow management are also part of the plan to better co-exist the different levels of practice.
Holidaymakers will also have the opportunity to discover more concretely the inner workings of the resort through the experiences offered around its various departments. «Ski Premières Traces» allows, for example, to accompany skiers from the moment they wake up until the day’s end, during the analysis of the snowpack, the securing of the slopes, or the preventive avalanche-prevention operations.
An electric scooter made for snow
The most unusual novelty will be found in Vallée Blanche. After skis, sleds and other hybrid devices, The E-Trott-Rider it appears.
The principle is based on the concept of an all-terrain electric scooter, adapted this time to the winter environment thanks to wide tires designed to operate on snow. Accessible from the age of 14, the activity will be supervised by qualified instructors and offered at the end of the day.

It will complement an offer already geared towards off-the-beaten-path experiences. Every Wednesday evening, Vallée Blanche hosts, for example, nighttime skiing on illuminated slopes, with the option to ski or try the yooner and snooc, halfway between skiing and sledding.
Another event developed this winter, the Sunset 3200 It will allow a handful of skiers and pedestrians to stay at altitude after the resort closes during the school holidays. Sunset at 3,200 meters, the last curves between 3,400 and 3,200 meters for skiers, a delicious break and then a descent by cable car will make up this experience organized on Tuesday.
There is also movement on the part of the good tables.
The changes don’t stop at the ski area. As for the gastronomy, The 1879 – The Table of Mounier The restaurant now opens its doors to people who are not staying at the four-star hotel. Its name refers to the year the first refuge of the Mounier family was built; today, they are the head of a house that has been passed down for five generations.
The Hôtel Les Lutins, located at the foot of the Jandri, in turn scores a Third star, After a renovation carried out with an eco-responsible approach promoted by the establishment.
A new address is also appearing with Les Copain’s. Led by three partners, it boasts traditional French cuisine focused on large shared dishes and a friendly atmosphere, with a pricing strategy presented as accessible.
With the modernization of the facilities, new ways to enjoy the snow and the evolution of the gastronomic offer, Les 2 Alpes is therefore refining several aspects of its winter stay. The main season will continue until 2nd May 2027, Before altitude skiing and spring activities take over.
