À Tignes, In the winter of 2026-2027, a series of major sporting, festive and cultural events will be taking place. From the Winter Fest to the World Championships in Alpine Skiing, through the Mountain Shaker, the European Snowpride and Tignes Unlimited, the Savoyard resort is organizing a particularly dense schedule until the beginning of May.

The season will begin as soon as November 21, 2026, The date announced for the opening of the resort, before the connection to Val d’Isère scheduled a week later, on November 28th. But the first major highlights will arrive with the end-of-year holidays.
Le 31 December, The snow-covered front will host a live karaoke concert with an ambitious goal: to make several thousand people sing a few hours before the 2027 anniversary. Hits from yesterday and today are to accompany this open-air New Year’s Eve party.
January is marked by sliding
From January 9 to 12, The Winter Fest will open with a particularly packed lineup. For its second edition, the event will bring together snowboarding, skateboarding, cinema and music with equipment testing, six films over two evenings, free freestyle initiation sessions and concerts.

Arthur Longo and Mathieu Crépel are among the riders announced, while skateboarding will take more of a role with Vincent Milou, Aurélien Giraud and Vincent Matheron. An indoor skatepark will be installed at Tignespace for the occasion.
A few days later, from January 17 to 22, The Mountain Shaker will return with a renewed formula. Two Big Air World Cups are on the program, one in ski and the other in snowboarding. The latter will be organized for the first time in France.
The show will continue indoors January 19 and 20 With a stage of the FISE World Series. Skaters and roller riders will compete over more than 500 m² at Tignespace, while the Big Air finals will take place at night on the Val Claret snow front.
The World Para Ski Championships in March
After this freestyle period, the mountain will take on a more scientific appearance. March 2 with the Montagnes & Sciences Day. Documentary films will be screened before exchanges with researchers and specialists on exploration, innovation and environmental issues. Admission is announced as free of charge.
The major event of the month will then arrive from 7 to 19 March 2027 with the FIS World Championships in para alpine skiing. Tignes will host this competition for the first time in France, on the Lognan stadium. Approximately 110 athletes representing 30 nations are expected in five disciplines: downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and combined alpine.
The end of March will take on a more festive tone with the’European Snowpride, scheduled for the March 20 to 26, and its March of Fierties on March 25th.
Electrification to complete the season
Winter will finally last until spring. April 24 to May 2, Tignes Unlimited will return for a third edition with its DJ sets at altitude, its events in the resort, and its late-night parties.
At the previous edition, Purple Disco Machine, Agents of Time, Stephan Bodzin, Shimza, Mind Against, Moblack and Sara Landry had all participated in the programming. The festival intends to once again combine skiing and music to accompany the final days of the season.
From New Year’s Eve to international competitions, through freestyle, science culture and electro, Tignes Thus, he is preparing to prolong his agenda until the final days of spring skiing.
