From 11 to 14 August, Haute Tarentaise will host the first edition of Happy Days, a travelling event entirely dedicated to humour and live performance. For four days, the villages of Séez, Val d'Isère, Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise and Villaroger are transformed into open-air stages.
Family comedies, quirky shows, acrobatic bike displays and stand-up comedians: the festival offers a diverse programme, with settings that are sometimes outdoors, sometimes nestled in the iconic locations of the villages. Perfect for sharing convivial moments with family or friends.
Four days, four villages
The kick-off will be on 11 August in Séez, in the rural community hall car park, with a fencing workshop followed by the show «Un pour tous, moi d’abord» by Cie Colegram, before the evening «1h pour comprendre son ado» by Prod. Faites du bruit.
The next day, it's Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise's turn: «guided» tours by Cie Bord de l’Eau and the show «Au Sec’Ours» by Cie La Dent Drôle in the heart of La Mazure, followed by a stand-up evening with the Wander Comedy Club, place des Charmettes.
On August 13th, Val d'Isère takes over at Place Jacques Mouflier with the «Show Vélo» by Cie Les Enjoliveurs, followed by the Green Washing Comedy Club. The closing event will take place on August 14th in Villaroger, with the improvisation show «Improsture» presented by Ligue d'Impro 38, at the town hall square.
Conceived as a travelling event that reflects the region, the festival prioritises being free and accessible. All performances are free to enter, with stand-up and comedy evenings recommended for those aged 14 and over. Only the workshops require advance booking.
