From 30 July to 2 August 2026, the Belleville Valley will host the first edition of the Grand Raid KipRun 3 Vallées – Moûtiers. An alpine trail running event catering to all abilities, from amateur runners to ultra specialists, with starting points reaching up to 3200 metres and a common finish in Moûtiers.
The scheme is based on a simple idea: to offer several formats to attract a wider audience. A total of seven races are on the programme, ranging from 10 kilometres to 170 kilometres.
The most demanding event, the Ultra des 3 Vallées, measures 170 km with 12,000 metres of positive elevation gain. It can be run solo or in a team. Other intermediate formats are offered, such as a 110 km, a 70 km, or a 50 km marathon. The shorter courses, 25 km and 10 km, offer a first introduction to mountain trail running.
The departures are spread across several sites in the region. Moûtiers, Brides-les-Bains, Cime Caron, and Pointe de la Masse. Each route crosses varied environments, between ridges, alpine pastures, and forests.
A crossing of the 3 Valleys ski area
The event uses the terrain of the world's largest ski area to construct its courses. The competitors move between valleys and peaks, with high-altitude sections offering clear views over the Tarentaise.
Whatever the chosen format, the arrival is in Moûtiers. A common point that allows the animation to be concentrated and to welcome runners and spectators in the same area.

Beyond the competition, the organisation is also focusing on the overall experience. A package is offered around the event, with accommodation in the resort and a multi-activity pass. This pass provides access to the ski lifts and a range of supervised activities, such as guided hikes.
