At 2 Alps, the 2026 season starts earlier than expected. From the weekends in May, the bike park partially reopens its trails, with a simple promise: to ride from an altitude of 3200 metres down to Venosc at 960 metres.
On slopes still marked by winter, the first riders rediscover the descent as spring arrives. Weekends in May and the bank holidays in early June serve as a re-launch phase. The Venosc and Jandri areas are the first to be accessible, with routes already familiar to regulars.
For the more experienced, two runs directly connecting to the valley remain open from April, conditions permitting. At over 3000 metres, the «Highway to Heaven» run even allows for skiing on snow until mid-June in some years.

This positioning is based on a specific feature of the site. Thanks to its altitude, the resort allows you to ski on the glacier in the morning and then mountain bike in the afternoon. A rare combination in the Alps, made possible by the continuous opening of the Jandri cable car, which connects the station to the glacier in less than twenty minutes.
A summer structured around major mountain biking events
The ramp-up begins on 13 June, the full opening date of the bike park. The season then revolves around several major events.
La Mountain of Hell, scheduled from June 18th to 21st, remains the most spectacular event. More than 1,000 participants set off in a mass start from the glacier for a descent with a drop of 2300 metres. The event attracts both amateurs and seasoned pilots every year.
A few days later, the French Downhill Cup brings together the national elite on the technical slopes of the resort. In July, the Girls Shredding Days offer a format dedicated to female riders, supervised by champion Isabeau Courdurier.
The resort also hosts an urban downhill event in the heart of the village at the end of July, before a competition reserved for young riders in August. A programme that aims to cater for all profiles, from beginners to competitors.
Targeted improvements to enhance the experience
For 2026, several adjustments are being announced for the area. A new blue run, named Blueberry, will connect the Diable and Crêtes sectors. The aim is to broaden the offering for intermediate skiers.

The technical teams have also stepped up track maintenance. Mechanising the work should ensure the track remains smooth and stable throughout the summer, despite high usage.
In terms of access, the resort maintains a progressive pricing structure. Day passes are available from 33 euros during peak season, with options for half-day or multi-day passes.
