From 3 to 5 April 2026, the station Vaujany welcomes the fourth edition of «Film Easter», a festival dedicated to adventure cinema. Over three days, screenings and discussions will take place with directors, scientists, and athletes. The event, which is free and open to all, is aimed at both residents and holidaymakers present in the resort.
In the screening room, spectators take their seats from the first showings. The festival opens with screenings for schoolchildren centred around the film Off-piste sensitive and wild. Workshops follow, focusing on mountain-related professions.
At the weekend, the programming expands with films devoted to high-altitude exploration and engagement. Via Alpina, in the footsteps of the female pioneers opens up discussions around women's trajectories in the mountains.
The next day, the screenings continue with To Altaï or Stay Alive, before Azimuth North, who is embarking on an expedition project in extreme conditions.
A compact format, geared towards encounters
On Sundays, the narratives turn towards more personal journeys. Mégavalanche Up and Down and Our tour of Mont Blanc address performance and endurance. Don't be afraid of happiness Extend these testimonies around reconstruction and the relationship with risk.
In the corridors, discussions carry on after the sessions. Directors engage directly with the audience, without a formal framework. This stripped-down format, championed by the organisers, allows for more direct exchanges.
On-site, participants speak of a festival on a human scale, where screenings serve as a starting point for discussion. The themes covered extend beyond sport, with contributions relating to glaciology, the environment, and mountain practices.
