Culture, shows and skiing, La Plagne confirms its position as a must-see resort with a rich and varied programme to punctuate the entire season. Here are the key events not to be missed.
Culture à la carte - from 18 September 2025
The cultural season is already in full swing and will continue throughout the winter. Theatre, stand-up comedy, exhibitions and concerts are being staged throughout the region, from the valley to the villages and high altitude sites. It's a veritable red thread of artistic activity that accompanies holidaymakers and locals well beyond the slopes.
Xplore Alpes Festival - 25 to 31 October 2025
Every autumn, the Tarin festival is all about getting away from it all and raising awareness of the major issues involved in the transition. Film screenings, talks, concerts and a village of events create a friendly, committed atmosphere. This year, the new film "ICE" by climbing champions Tristan and Louna Ladevant will be shown as a preview.
Opening - 13 and 14 December 2025
The ski season kicks off with a weekend of festivities in the heart of the partners' village: after-ski, concerts, DJ sets... and above all the return of the legendary Nuit du Pompom Rouge on 31 December. An explosive start to the festive winter season.
Born to Be Show - 19 February 2026
At the Plagne Centre stadium, the traditional Club des Sports evening is back to honour the snow sports elite. Returning champions from the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, rising stars, instructors and ski patrollers take to the ice in front of thousands of spectators. The show, which has gained a cult following over the last 12 years, promises to be a spectacular combination of sporting performance and creative staging.
Mega Bell Course - 4 to 6 April 2026
To round off the season in style, the Easter weekend will be filled with the sound of bells. The Méga Bell Course combines skiing and festive entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere. It's a colourful event that attracts large crowds every year, ready to celebrate spring skiing right down to the last turns.
