From 21 to 28 March 2026, the Gets is launching a brand new event designed for those who have never skied before: the 1st Ski Festival, or "Festival of First Tracks". The idea? To turn an introduction to skiing into a friendly, festive and reassuring experience.
Unlike the big winter sports events, this festival is aimed exclusively at adults aged 18 and over who have never skied before. There's no competition, no pressure: the atmosphere is one of discovery and the pleasure of sharing your first turns.

Each morning, participants will take advantage of lessons led by ESF instructors to gently learn the basics.
In the afternoons, you'll enjoy a variety of sports and leisure activities to soak up the mountain atmosphere. The evenings will be punctuated by convivial meals, ideal for socialising and meeting new people.
An all-inclusive package for a confident start
The holiday has been designed to remove the usual barriers to learning to ski. The price of €399 includes: all equipment (skis, boots and poles), daily ski lessons, Les Gets - Morzine ski pass, afternoon entertainment and discounts in partner shops.
Participants are responsible for their own transport and meals. Accommodation is available at preferential rates thanks to the festival's partners.
By launching this festival, Les Gets aims to democratise access to winter sports. The resort is banking on a festive atmosphere, attractive prices and a caring approach to attract a public that is often intimidated by skiing. It's the perfect way to prove that the mountains are open to all, even those who have never taken the plunge before.
