This winter, the Gets is taking the next step in the modernisation of its facilities. From December 2025, skiers will be able to enjoy the brand new 8-seater detachable chairlift at La Rosta, installed by Solegets.
The old 4-seater chairlift has been replaced by a latest-generation 8-seater, equipped with ergonomic seats and a positioning mat to make boarding easier.
With an operating speed of 6 metres per second, the ascent to the summit will take no more than three minutes. The stated aim is to reduce traffic on the slopes and improve the experience of both beginners and experienced skiers.
Environmentally-friendly technology
As well as offering greater comfort, this new equipment illustrates Les Gets' commitment to a more sustainable mountain environment.

Its Direct Drive engine reduces energy consumption, eliminates the use of hydrocarbons and limits noise pollution. A modern technology that combines performance and respect for the environment, while enhancing the safety of technical teams.
This new-generation chairlift makes the Rosta sector even more accessible and attractive. This investment confirms Les Gets' determination to offer a high-performance ski area that looks to the future.
