In the steaming wake of the hot springs, the Grands Bains du Monêtier are preparing to take a new step forward. In winter 2025-2026, the emblematic site in the Serre Chevalier valley will inaugurate the spa La Rotondea brand new space that will complete an already unique wellness offer.
Still under construction, the project is already showing its promise. Under the building's rounded vaults, the architecture inspires a circular scenography where each space has been designed as an experience in its own right.
The heart of the spa will be an immersive pool equipped with a giant screen. Here, relaxation will be experienced in a new dimension, combining interactive projections and physical sensations: light rain, wind, changing atmosphere.
Just a few steps away, a world innovation will make its appearance: a sparkling water pool, designed for unparalleled relaxation. Further on, a saline area reminiscent of sea caves will promote breathing and detoxification.
a panoramic sauna overlooking the summits
The journey continues between warmth and coolness, with a panoramic sauna overlooking the peaks, an enveloping hammam and a snowroom where contrasts alternate.
Outside, the terrace will unveil five Jacuzzis facing the mountains, veritable belvederes from which to enjoy the scenery in the middle of winter.

Private terraces, each with its own bath, offer moments of absolute tranquillity. To prolong this interlude, a convivial herbal tea room will allow you to linger even longer, in a soothing atmosphere.
If innovation guides every detail of La RotondeBut the site has not forgotten its roots. The waterfall, fed by naturally hot water at 44°C, has been preserved. A true emblem of Monêtier-les-Bains, it continues to embody the ancestral link between the mountains and its thermal benefits.
Around this common thread, a number of relaxation areas have been created to ensure a gentle, restful atmosphere. The whole has been added to the Grands Bains rangewhich are more than ever a benchmark for alpine well-being.
