Following heavy snowfalls, with more than a metre of snow falling on the summits, Tignes has announced an exceptional pre-opening of its ski area from Saturday 18 November.
Thanks to the foresight of the slope and lift crews, mountain and snow sports enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a preview of the 1,300 metres of vertical drop between the top of the Grande Motte cable car and the resort, with a return on skis.
