In the Pyrenees, La Mongie also remains an attractive option, with an average price of €1,786/sq m, making it possible to buy a 30 m² property for €53,580. A godsend for winter sports enthusiasts looking to take advantage of a ski area without blowing their budget.

These resorts offer a cost-effective alternative to the major Alpine resorts, but their lower altitude makes them more vulnerable to capricious winters.
