Méribel once again welcomes international comedy with the second edition of the Franglish Comedy Festival. For five days, the snow-covered slopes will give way to bursts of laughter thanks to a programme combining French and English comedic talent. And this year, two live bands will be adding their voices to the festivities.
From 27 to 31 January 2025, Méribel becomes the setting for a festival like no other. Inspired by the atmosphere of the New York clubs of the 1950s, the Franglish Comedy Festival promises an immersive and interactive experience.

With shows in the resort's auditorium and bars, this event offers a daring mix of multilingual stand-up and close contact with the artists. Audiences can enjoy hilarious performances after a busy day on the slopes.
Richard Lett, co-director of the event, sums up the spirit of the festival perfectly:
"Humourists are the most lucid commentators of our time. And in these special times, we need lucidity. And above all, a good laugh.
An exceptional programme
The festival brings together 10 renowned comedians from France and England, each bringing their own unique touch to this comedy extravaganza.

This year's line-up includes Lou Sanders and Tez Ilyas, key figures on the British scene, David Azria and Julie Conti, proud representatives of French stand-up, and Eric Lampaert and Tatty Macleod, specialists in bilingual comedy.
And that's not all. To liven up the evenings, two musical groups will energise the atmosphere: Miguel Mantovani (Cuban Brothers) and Shaka Loves You, for festive afters in the bars of Méribel.
