And to top it all off, before hitting the slopes and to get the day off to a good start, the resort teams will be handing out free hot drinks at the various snow fronts around the resort.
To take advantage of a discounted package...
With over 3,500 skiers taking to the slopes over the pre-opening weekend, Tignes has already enjoyed a highly successful start to the winter season.
And this weekend, there's a new sporting highlight on the horizon in the Grande Motte sector. While the opening of the ski lifts is subject to weather conditions, the price of the lift pass will be capped at 38 euros.
A unique opportunity to ski at a low price.
...And accommodation too!
Tignes has a number of attractive special offers for the Opening weekend.
From €157 per person, come and enjoy hotel or flat accommodation, with a Tignes ski pass included for Saturday and Sunday.
To take part in the Yeti Race
On Sunday morning, after a night of festivities, skiers will have the chance to extend the pleasure on the slopes and/or take part in the 2023 edition of the Yeti Race.
A crazy race that's a cross between a trail and an obstacle course on snow (10 km, 500 m ascent), where the best-dressed participants will have the honour of standing on the podium.
