Courchevel is preparing this season to welcome two establishments with distinctly different charms, combining international refinement with a homely spirit. At Jardin Alpin, the prestigious Rosewood Hotels & Resorts marks its arrival in France with a sumptuous five-star hotel. Further down, the family-run Les Monts Charvin is writing a new page in its history with a couple of passionate managers.
Rosewood Courchevel - Le Jardin Alpin
It's an event in the world of mountain hotels. In December 2025, the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts group will open its very first Alpine establishment in the heart of Courchevel 1850.
Designed as an elegant and immersive refuge, the Rosewood Courchevel - Le Jardin Alpin is located in the most exclusive area of the resort, with direct access to the slopes and breathtaking views of the snow-covered peaks.

Created by French designer Tristan Auer, the hotel combines contemporary luxury with a spirit of adventure. Its 51 rooms and suites offer generous volumes, noble materials and a cosy atmosphere.
There's a large spa, all-day restaurant, lounge bar, smoking room, kids' club and integrated shopping and ski hire areas.
The opening of this new hotel confirms Rosewood's desire to develop an immersive hotel experience in Europe, combining haute couture service with local roots. After the’Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, the group is continuing its expansion here with a venue that promises to embody the very best of Alpine savoir-vivre.
Les Monts Charvin
Just a few bends from the centre of Courchevel 1850, the hotel Les Monts Charvin is also about to begin a new story.

This winter, the establishment built by the Charvin family in the purest Savoyard tradition passes into the hands of Fabrice and Célariane Vischi, a well-known couple in the resort.
Anxious to preserve the soul of the place, they have redesigned the spaces to infuse them with modernity and warmth. A convivial bar on the ground floor, a restaurant room for winter evenings and a redesigned décor in the spirit of chalet chic.
Their ambition is clear: to offer a hotel where you can feel at home, in a sincere, gentle and resolutely mountain atmosphere.
There's no pomp and circumstance here. Les Monts Charvin cultivates another luxury, that of simplicity, comfort and meeting people around an open fire.
