With the ski season fast approaching, the resorts in the 3 Valleys (Méribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens, Les Menuires...) are preparing to unveil new ski lifts this winter. Here's an overview.
Saulire cable car
Now equipped with new panoramic cabins offering optimum comfort, the Saulire cable car is not just about improving comfort. It also offers a completely new way of discovering the majestic landscapes of Courchevel and the 3 Valleys. As a reminder, the two gondolas of the Saulire cable car were damaged in September 2021 during a regulatory exercise.
Télécabine des 2 Lacs
This new 10-seater gondola lift, combining speed and comfort, replaces the 2 Lacs chairlift. This modern lift will take you even higher, to the starting point of the La BEE zip line. Designed to make it easier for children to get on board, this gondola lift guarantees a smooth, enjoyable ascent in just 4 minutes. So you can admire the breathtaking scenery before hitting the slopes. It is due to open on 23 November 2024.
Lac Bleu cable car
Designed to simplify travel between the Col de la Loze and Loze Est slopes, this new installation improves access to the slopes, offering a smooth transition while revealing breathtaking panoramic views. It's the perfect way to make a day's skiing even more enjoyable and effortless.
Golf Carpet
Courchevel is further enhancing skiers' experience with the installation of a new covered carpet at the Golf course. This new equipment replaces two of the three existing carpets, providing a more comfortable ascent and better protection from the elements. Designed to ensure a smooth and safe ascent, this state-of-the-art carpet is ideal for beginners and families, guaranteeing easy access to the slopes whatever the weather conditions.
Tapis du Praz
This brand new carpet has been specially designed for young skiers. It is ultra-modern and replaces the old installation, offering a smooth and safe ascent. Ideal for families, it promises unforgettable skiing in a safe and comfortable environment, allowing children to enjoy their first runs to the full.
