This winter, music takes to the skies at Serre Chevalier. The station launches Sound of Altitude, A new programme of events designed to get the summits and snow fronts buzzing with DJ sets and concerts throughout the season.
The idea behind this new label is simple: to bring together under a single banner the many musical initiatives already present in the valley's mountain restaurants and bars, while giving them greater coherence and visibility.
For several seasons now, electronic music and concerts at altitude have been a growing success at Serre Chevalier. Sound of Altitude gives structure to this dynamic and ensures its long-term future.
The winter programme
From the end of December, music will be playing on the slopes and terraces. Kicking off on 29 and 30 December with Refuge en Folie, Two days of concerts at the mountain restaurant Le Refuge du Grand Hôtel, organised by the Le Son des Guitares collective.
A friendly start, with guitar, festive atmosphere and snowy panorama.
On 31 December, the party kicks into high gear with a DJ set by Omizs at Le Bivouac in La Salle-les-Alpes.
A rising star on the Paris electro scene, he'll be offering a session at altitude to celebrate the arrival of the new year, in a festive and accessible spirit.
January confirms the ambition of the project. On 21 January, the Spot de Pralong will be hosting a long DJ session based around the concept of Applause.
Twelve artists will be performing throughout the day, in a participatory and eclectic format mixing house, bass music, hip-hop, breakbeat and hybrid sounds.
It's a way of bringing different styles and audiences together, while transforming the mountain into a veritable open-air dancefloor.
Headliners at the top
The programme continues with several eagerly-awaited highlights. On 31 January, Belgian DJ and producer The Magician will be setting up his decks at the Bivouac.
Known for his cult remixes and elegant house music, he is perfectly in tune with the «chic altitude» spirit that the resort wants to develop.
On 14 March, it's the turn of Amour Propre, a French duo with electro and indie influences, whose sets sail between solar energy and melodic textures.
Their visit to the Alpage promises a moment of suspension, between contemplation and dance, facing the summits.
A festive spring finale
The highlight of this first edition will be a grand finale on the weekend of 4 and 5 April 2026.
Saturday will be devoted to a battle of local DJs, a nod to the regional scene and its dynamism.
On Sunday, a big DJ set will take place at Pontillas, in La Salle-les-Alpes, to close the winter in a festive and collective atmosphere.
