The ski resort in the Southern Alps is once again promising a rich programme. Discover the highlights of the winter season at Serre Chevalier.
9 December: Opening of the ski area
Serre Chevalier opens on Saturday 9 December and closes on Sunday 14 April.
9-10 December: Premières Glisses
To celebrate the launch of its season and the opening of its slopes, Serre Chevalier is organising the Premières Glisses weekend, with free entertainment, great ski deals and a big concert on the programme.

7 January: Alpi Serre Che by La Grande Trace
Come and take part in 3 ski touring routes in the sumptuous Massif des Cerces.

18-27 January: Altitude Jazz Festival
Do you like jazz? Then this is the festival for you! Forty concerts featuring new talent await you in the valley's major venues and bars.
20 January - Snowrugby
For the third year running, the Southern Alps resort is organising a rugby on snow tournament at the summit of the Col du Lautaret, perched at an altitude of 2,000m.

20-21 January: Serre Che Snow Trail
Two nature trails at an altitude of over 2000 m and a night trail are on the programme for the 7th edition of the Serre Chevalier winter trail.
2-4 February: Mondial du Monoski
Quite simply, it's the biggest gathering of its kind in the world! Take advantage of free tests, introductory courses and freeride sessions over a weekend of speed and giant slalom competitions.
3-9 February: Snowkite Masters
The world's best riders will gather at the legendary Le Lautaret spot for a week of shows and tricks.

15, 22, 29 February and 7 March: Demo Ski Show
The date is set for every Thursday during the winter holidays. The Demo Ski Show, organised on the snow front by ESF instructors, will retrace the history of skiing through a series of tableaux.
28 February: La Trace Dynastar
Starting in Monêtier, this ski touring race is organised at dusk.
29 February: Big Concert/DJ Set
International artists are expected to perform at this major event. The line-up will be revealed shortly.

16-17 March: Wine and flavours fair
The 5th edition of the Wine and Flavour Fair will be held on 16 and 17 March. It will bring together around thirty local, national and international gastronomic producers.

23 March: Grand Prix de Serre Chevalier
It's the undisputed highlight of the winter season in Serre Chevalier. With more than 2,000 skiers, snowboarders and handicappers taking to the slopes, the Grand Prix de Serre Chevalier promises to put on a show from 22 to 24 March.
