The Fédération Nationale de l'Immobilier (Fnaim) has unveiled the property prices in French ski resorts.
If there's one sector that continues to attract people, it's the mountains.
With prices continuing to soar in some ski resorts, and property at a premium in the most exclusive resorts, property prices rose by 35% between January 2014 and October 2023.
The most expensive resorts are in the Alps
Prices are significantly higher in the Alps (€4672/m² on average) than in the Massif Central (€1756/m²) or Corsica (€1576/m²).

The most expensive ski resorts in France are Val d'Isère (€14,758/m²), ahead of Courchevel (€12,600/m²) and Megève (€11,057/m²).

By focusing on the largest resorts and those that depend on the ten largest French ski areas in terms of visitor numbers, the Fnaim studied 71 of the 190 ski resorts in the Alps.

In this sample of resorts, the average price of accommodation is €5,571 per square metre, with the average price of chalets reaching €8,030 per square metre. What if it was the right time for you? investing in one of the many ski resorts in the French Alps?
