A spectacular Christmas on the slopes at Arc 2000
On Wednesday 24 December, Arc 2000 will be hosting one of its most emblematic winter events, the Christmas Shows. As soon as night falls, the arrival of Father Christmas will set the tone before an impressive torchlight descent. Around 120 ESF instructors will be taking part in this collective moment, which has become a classic of high altitude festivities. It's a spectacular visual spectacle for all the family, combining light, snow and mountain traditions.
At Arc 1950, après-ski takes on a festive air
On Thursday 25 December, Arc 1950 transforms its snowfront into a musical stage with «Arc en Scène». Designed as a festive after-ski, the event alternates live concerts and DJ sets in a convivial atmosphere, ideal for prolonging the magic of Christmas once the skis have been put away. It's an event for holidaymakers and seasonal workers alike, in keeping with the village spirit of Arc 1950.
Arc 1800, a night-time immersion in architecture
On Monday 22 December, Arc 1800 is offering an original guided tour at nightfall. Called «Les Arcs by night», the tour will give visitors a whole new perspective on the resort's architectural heritage, which has been awarded the "Architecture Contemporaine Remarquable" label by the French Ministry of Culture. It's a cultural interlude that sheds light on the history and urban planning of Les Arcs, far from the hustle and bustle of the slopes.
Arc 1600, a concert at the heart of the festive season
On Monday 21 December, the Coupole d'Arc 1600 will be hosting an acoustic concert by the Ensemble de Cuivres de Haute-Tarentaise. Nearly twenty musicians will be on stage for a musical moment accessible to all, in a warm and elegant atmosphere, perfect for easing into Christmas week.
In Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the Christmas market is a rallying point
From Friday 19 to Sunday 21 December, Bourg-Saint-Maurice town centre will be getting into the festive spirit with its Christmas market. Designers, local craftspeople, entertainment for young and old, and Father Christmas will be on hand for the three days. It's a popular event with locals and holidaymakers alike, ideal for strolling around, finding presents and sharing a moment of conviviality before heading back to the resorts.
