After the resounding success of PopAlp at Alpe d'Huez (number 1 on TripAdvisor for the last three years), the CîMEHôTEL Group's wacky concept is set to rock the world! La Plagne. In December 2025, the legendary Christinaone of the resort's oldest establishments, is reopening under a brand new name and a completely different face: the PopAlp La Plagne. A 4-star hotel like no other, where skiing meets pop art, and every detail invites a smile.
It took two years of work to transform this historic hotel into a unique, colourful and humorous venue.
Located in the heart of the Paradiski area, opposite the slalom stadium, the PopAlp La Plagne is a panoramic brasserie, POPIt has a tiered terrace where you can watch the champions race down the slopes.
It's impossible to miss: on the façade, a gigantic red bonnet, a nod to the resort's emblem, sets the tone.
Right from the entrance, the tone is set. A monumental chandelier in the shape of an egg gilded with gold leaf, a tribute to the cable cars of the 1960s, catches the eye. The walls burst with bright colours, inspired by the works of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
No rustic wood or animal skins here. Visit PopAlp breaks with the codes of the traditional mountain chalet and celebrates the joy, fantasy and culture of winter sports.
The art of skiing... pop art version
The concept of PopAlp is based on a simple, brilliant idea: to revisit the mountain through the energy of pop art.
The artists of the 1960s - Warhol, Hamilton, Rauschenberg - turned everyday objects into veritable icons. PopAlp is doing the same with the mountains.
Here, Jean-Claude Duss replaces Marilyn, and the walls feature the famous cult scene of the skis falling in front of the restaurant.

Each room becomes a work of art in its own right. The corridors resemble a gallery where each door is a painting.
There are quirky themes, explosive colours and references to the history of skiing, winter sports and Alpine culture. The result? A hotel-museum that is both chic and cheerfully cheeky.
A lobby that sets the tone
As soon as you cross the threshold, the décor takes you away: a steel staircase in the style of a ski lift, a suspended golden cabin, and pop armchairs that invite you to sit down in front of the colourful fireplace.
The concierge reception, open 24 hours a day, welcomes visitors with a smile. There's the smell of hot pancakes, the sound of laughter over steaming chocolate, and an arcade machine to remind you that, even at 2,000 metres, you can still re-enact your revenge on the world. Pac-Man.
50 rooms, 5 flats and 2 penthouses
In terms of accommodation, the PopAlp La Plagne doesn't do things by halves. The 50 rooms and suites, all with balconies overlooking the slopes, reflect the pop spirit down to the smallest detail: graphic headboards, colourful lighting and designer furniture.

The flats (60 m²) and penthouses (160 m², sleeping up to 8) focus on conviviality and spectacular views of Mont Blanc. Here, the aim is to make travellers feel "better than at home", with the spirit of skiing and the gentle madness of the Mont Blanc region. PopAlp as a bonus.
Le POP, the brasserie that's going to be the talk of the town
With its south-facing terrace, the Le POP brasserie promises to become the must-visit spot in La Plagne.
In the morning, skiers can enjoy a generous buffet overlooking the mountains. In the evening, the half-board service satisfies appetites with tasty cuisine served under a colourful fresco, as if it were snowing pigments.
Pancakes, gourmet snacks, a cocktail bar and a festive atmosphere: the PopAlp not only provides accommodation for holidaymakers, it also offers them a joyful, sensory experience.
A skishop and... a unique social project
Le PopAlpIt's also an integrated skishop's shop, run by a dynamic and passionate team. State-of-the-art equipment, the latest accessories, everything you need to hit the slopes.
But the brand is also innovating on a human level: 200 metres away, the former hotel HO36 will become an accommodation facility for seasonal staff.
Renamed HôlaôIt will offer half-board accommodation, a comfortable living environment and genuine recognition for those who keep the resort running. A first in the mountains, and a great idea for reconciling hospitality and solidarity.
