À Vars, The promise of skiing from morning to night under the sun is not a dream, it's a reality. Thanks to the circus shape of its ski area, you can ski in full sunlight from 9am to 5pm without ever losing sight of the winter sun. A blessing for ski and vitamin D lovers, determined to reconcile sport, health and a radiant complexion.
The day begins as it should, with a hearty breakfast and a slathering of sun cream. Then it's on to the Sibìères and Crévoux areas, at the foot of the Eyssina slopes. It's best to get up early to catch the first rays, those that caress the northern slopes before disappearing around midday.

Once your legs have warmed up, you're off to the Mayt and its blue piste des Heureux. The name has never lived up to its promise so well. Its length and fluidity make it one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the resort, perfect for a series of turns on the edge of the boardercross while enjoying the low-angled light at the end of the morning.
In the afternoon, enjoy the larch forests
In the afternoon, the Chemin du Soleil passes through Peyrol and Sainte-Marie before switching to Peynier. This area, often described as a domain within a domain, rolls out its pistes in the middle of larch forests. Three chairlifts, double access from Les Claux or Sainte-Marie and perfect sunshine make it the perfect place to catch the last rays before taking off your boots.
At the end of the day, when your legs start to tingle and the marks of your goggles start to show on your face, you know the challenge has been met. In Vars, skiing all day in the sun is much more than a promise: it's a way of life.
