From June to the end of August 2026, Val d'Isère The ski resort strings together sporting, cultural, and festive events. Between major cycling events, high-altitude competitions, and village fêtes, the Savoyard resort structures its summer season around a packed calendar, designed to attract both athletes and passing visitors.
From 21 June, the Col de l'Iseran route will be reserved for cyclists over a distance of almost 30 kilometres. More than 500 participants are expected to take part in this emblematic climb to an altitude of 2,770 metres, one of the highest road passes in Europe.
In mid-July, the High Trail Vanoise The relay is taken over. For two days, various race formats will be offered, from long trails to charity runs. The course takes place at altitude, in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, starting at the sports park.
At the end of August, the format evolves with the Crazy Loops. For 24 hours, participants complete a loop of a few kilometres around Lake Ouillette. The aim is simple: to cover the greatest possible distance in the shortest possible time.
Another highlight of the summer is a day dedicated to electrically-assisted mountain biking. At the end of August, the Bellevarde hosts an event focused on climbing, with several marked routes and activities on the estate.
Village festivals and popular events
At the same time, the resort maintains a calendar of events rooted in local life. On 14 July, local residents and holidaymakers come together for a ball, fireworks and entertainment at several sites in the village.
A few days later, a day dedicated to the environment is organised, with collection activities and educational events on the slopes. The public is invited to take part in these supervised operations.
At the end of July, the Vieux Val Festival is taking place for two days with concerts, a car boot sale and entertainment. The weekend attracts a large audience, comprising both valley residents and visitors.
At the beginning of August, the Savoyard Fair The event takes place in the village centre. Over 100 exhibitors are expected, showcasing crafts and regional products, in a setup similar to an open-air market.
On 23 August, the Ouillette Festival takes place at altitude, around the lake. A meal is organised on site with a musical programme.

Between the highlights, the resort offers a series of regular events. Open-air concerts, children's shows and guided tours of the village punctuate the weeks. Farm visits are also organised several times a week, giving visitors a chance to discover local farming activities.
The season is punctuated by a number of festivals. In July, a hip-hop dance show is scheduled as part of the High flights. In August, events combining circus, cycling and humour take over, before a gypsy jazz concert at the end of the month.
