À Val d'IsèreWinter 2025-2026 promises to be a year of innovation. The resort is increasing the number of facilities to enhance the experience for skiers and pedestrians, while also promoting its heritage and panoramic views. Here's an update.
The legend of Mont Iseran brought to life
At the top of the Vallon cable car, an immersive experience now awaits visitors. The arrival station, between wood and stone, features a setting based around the legend of Mont Iseran and its mythical ascent in the XVIIᵉ century. This anamorphosis, designed as a bridge between history and Alpine landscapes, offers a cultural break in the heart of the high mountains.
A new relaxation area at Le Fornet
As part of this welcoming approach, the arrival area of the Fornet cable car has been redesigned with a cosy space reminiscent of a mid-range mountain refuge. Large picture windows overlooking the valley and a wooded ambience invite you to enjoy a friendly stopover before heading back up the mountain.

Spaces designed for beginners
Deployed last year in Solaise, the signage Quiet skiing is being extended to the Bellevarde sector this winter. It allows beginners to find their way around easily and to ski only on the green and blue runs, thanks to specific logos, directional arrows and banners. Return to cabin" signs also make it easier to get back to the village.
Two new panoramic terraces
At Le Fornet, a terrace with an orientation table and binoculars now allows visitors to admire the pointe de la Galise and the Tsanteleina. In the Madeleine sector, another terrace has been built facing the Charvet rock and the pointe de la Sana, offering a natural viewpoint over the massif.
The pink booth gets a new look
The icon of the Olympique cable car, the famous pink cabin has been given a new covering that evokes childhood and a fairytale world. A makeover that extends the history of this local symbol.
Easy pedestrian access thanks to the QR code
Val d'Isère is continuing its digital initiative. Pedestrians can now access the ski lifts using a QR code, available on the app, the website or the terminals installed at Solaise and Le Fornet. A way of making journeys more fluid and opening up new routes for non-skiers.
