It's a world first and a La Plagne exclusive. Two completely open cabins unlike any other have been incorporated into the new Glacier gondola line, which reaches the new Live 3000 summit at an altitude of 3,080 m.
Would you like to take a sensory voyage of discovery with your hair blowing in the wind? It's now possible at La Plagne !
A trip like no other to the Live 3000 summitIn summer and winter alike, you'll have a front-row seat to admire the majesty of the landscape as it prepares to be launched to the public for the opening of the summer season on 8 July 2024.
Harnessed and secured by a lifeline, passengers are in direct contact with the environment: a semi-open grating floor and no glass to act as a barrier.
Get close to peaks over 3000 m high
At the end of the ascent, you'll find yourself at a high altitude of over 3,000 metres, surrounded by a world of minerals. At the top, you can enjoy the panoramic terrace while dining at the Sixième Ciel café.
For the descent, a signposted path is accessible, as is the Glacier gondola, but this time in the classic version.
An unprecedented challenge the manufacturer Poma. The aim is to offer an interior design that guarantees the most discreet and rapid security system possible for customers, while preserving the notion of adrenalin and the sensation of emptiness.
