Saturday 7 December marks the start of the winter season with "La Première Montée des Arcs", a unique event that brings together mountain and snow sports enthusiasts.
Since 2019, this initiative has been inviting ski touring enthusiasts to explore the snowy landscape in a friendly atmosphere.
The race will start at 10.00 am from the Pré Saint Esprit ski lift (Arc 2000). Participants will have the chance to discover the beauty of Les Arcs while testing their skills on a 5-kilometre course with 700 metres of ascent.
"La Première Montée des Arcs" joins forces with the Telethon
The more experienced can reach the Col de la Chal, offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.
This year, "La Première Montée des Arcs" is joining forces with the Telethon. A minimum contribution of €5 will be required from each participant over 18, with all donations going to the AFM Téléthon, supporting research and families affected by rare genetic diseases.
