Faster, more comfortable lifts
One of the major projects involves the Aiguille Percée sector, where a brand new detachable 6-seater chairlift will replace the old one. With a speed of 2,800 people/hour, it will improve access to this emblematic sector and its iconic rock immortalised by Candide Thovex.
In the same spirit, Le Lavachet has a double carpet, designed to make learning easier and guarantee a safe space for beginners.
A high-level sporting season
From 30 March to 5 April 2026, Tignes will be hosting the elite French Alpine Skiing Championships. More than 250 competitors in five disciplines - slalom, giant slalom, super-G, parallel giant slalom and downhill - will be looking for the last podium finishes before the 2026 Milano-Cortina Games. A major event that should attract fans, supporters and champions from all over the world.

New experiences for all
Winter also offers a host of original activities. Val Claret is home to an electric go-karting circuit on snow in an E-Buggy, accessible from the age of 14, to test your driving skills on slippery terrain. Right next door, the Aventure Park unfurls its suspended walkways and vertiginous zip lines, from 60 to 150 metres long, for guaranteed thrills.
Women in the spotlight
This winter, l'Oxygène Ski and snowboard school is launching an exclusive package for women skiers: group lessons for women only, led by a qualified instructor. A great way to build confidence in a friendly atmosphere.
Ever more innovative services
At last, Tignes unveils its menu MyTignes winter version: a multi-activity card inspired by the summer model. For a whole week, it includes access to the sports facilities, Adventure Park, cinema, snowshoe sports and wellness activities.
Snowboarding at the party
From 11 to 13 January 2026, the Winter Fest will be celebrating board sports culture in all its forms. On the programme: competitions, skate and snowboard demonstrations, film screenings, exhibitions of historic boards, electro nights and a photo master class in the mountains. It's a free event, open to all, that promises to leave a lasting impression.
