One of the main new features this winter is the new 6-seater detachable chairlift "Le Marais", which will be inaugurated in December 2024. This new chairlift replaces the old one, offering a faster and quieter ascent thanks to "Directdrive" technology.
With a capacity of 2,020 skiers per hour, it will provide easy access to the summit of the Aiguille Percée from a departure point located next to the Aiguille Rouge chairlift. This new facility will enhance the resort's modern infrastructure, following the installation of the Aiguille Rouge chairlift in 2022.
At the same time, beginners are not left out. Two new conveyor belts have replaced the old Lavachet ski lift, making access to the learning area much easier and more enjoyable. Free and practical, this new facility will allow novice skiers to progress with complete peace of mind.
A brand new high-altitude restaurant
For those looking for a gourmet break on the slopes, the new mountain restaurant Le Palet is an address not to be missed. Situated at an altitude of 2,431 metres, opposite the Col du Palet, this new culinary landmark has been opened by Michelin-starred chef Clément Bouvier and his childhood friend Gary Ceccarelli.
In a festive, relaxed atmosphere with live music, Le Palet offers a selection of home-cooked dishes made with fresh, local produce. Whether you're looking for comfort food, a charcuterie platter, or sweet treats such as waffles and home-made pastries, there's something for everyone.
Finally, for the youngest skiers, the Tignes le Lac ESF is offering a fun novelty with snowtubing buoys. Available in the kindergarten, these buoys allow children to discover new sliding sensations in a fun and safe way, while diversifying their activities on the snow.
