À Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves, The end of the season is taking an original turn. On 21 and 22 March 2026, the resort is launching «Ride & Beaufort», a new event combining skiing, sporting challenges and local gastronomy.
The idea is simple: to offer a different, accessible weekend, where people come as much to have fun as to enjoy the slopes. And here, Beaufort AOP is never far away.
The concept is based on a competition in teams of four, with two formats: participation over one day or the whole weekend.

On Saturday, it's time for the events on the slopes. On the programme: a parallel slalom with a Beaufort cheese tasting break, an Olympiad combining skiing and coordination, or a more physical “Wall of Champions”... accompanied by a fondue bar.
On Sunday, the teams involved over the two days continue in the village with more fun challenges: disc golf, laser games, blind tastings and even DVA searches for a more technical touch.
Snow events... with a Savoyard touch
As well as the competition, the event is all about atmosphere. Participants alternate between challenges and free skiing in the afternoon, while the village comes alive throughout the weekend.
The event will culminate on Saturday evening with a concert by the group Kaslan, followed by a festive evening. A prize-giving ceremony closes the event on Sunday.
With this new event, Les Sybelles is looking to revitalise the end of the season with an accessible and friendly format.
«The idea is to combine skiing, unusual challenges and Savoyard gastronomy to create a unique weekend», explains the tourist office.
A blend of sport, local produce and mountain spirit, Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves has come up with a simple formula: make the end of the season a special time for skiing... but not just skiing.
