À Méribel, Christmas is never just a box to tick in the calendar. From mid-December, the heart of the 3 Valleys is transformed into a fairytale setting, with illuminated chalets, frosted Christmas trees and streets scented with mulled wine. Once again this year, the Savoyard resort has put together a packed programme designed to thrill families, fill children with wonder and remind adults that magic does exist.
An ice show by Candeloro on 23 December
The highlight of the week was Olivia Candeloro's grand creation, The Sandman's daughter, takes over the Méribel ice rink for a unique evening. A poetic, rhythmic show combining sliding, acrobatics and fantastic characters.

The P'tits Loups parade, 23 December
On the same day, Méribel Centre will host an artistic walk inspired by a revisited Little Red Riding Hood, joyful and peaceful. Wolves and hoods dance together to the rhythm of a luminous fanfare in a setting that transforms into a living stage.

Santa's arrival in a horse-drawn carriage on 24 December
It's one of the most eagerly-awaited moments of the year: the appearance of Father Christmas, in his horse-drawn carriage, under the illuminations on the snow front. It's a traditional, warm setting, designed with families in mind.

A final farewell to Father Christmas on 25 December
The next day, the magic continues. Méribel organises a torchlit descent down the snow front, before a fireworks display that sets the valley ablaze. Father Christmas makes his final visit before continuing his tour.

In addition to these highlights, the resort is offering a host of events, including children's activities at the Inuit Village, There'll be creative workshops, musical walks and gourmet get-togethers with hot drinks and Savoyard specialities.
