For its 30th birthday, Orelle is stepping up its growth even further. The most Maurienne of the Tarines resorts is approaching winter 2025-2026 with a number of major new features, enhancing its accessibility, comfort and accommodation offer.
A new car park at the foot of the cable car
This is the most visible project of this anniversary season. A 743-space silo car park is opening directly at the start of the Orelle cable car.
Spread over three to four levels, it includes 80 charging points for electric vehicles and optimised traffic flow.

Connected directly to the departure facilities, it now gives the station a parking capacity of over 1,000 vehicles, in addition to the 300 outdoor spaces already available.
The SETAM/STOR group has invested over €9 million (excluding VAT) in this strategic project, designed to handle the growing number of visitors.
Shuttle buses from Saint-Michel station
Another notable improvement is the introduction of a regular shuttle service between Saint-Michel-Valloire SNCF station and the Orelle cable car.
Running from 22 November 2025 to 3 May 2026, it will operate every weekend, as well as every day during the school holidays. Timetables will be adjusted to coincide with train arrivals and the opening of the gondola lift. The advertised fare is around €2.50 per journey, making it easy to get there without a car.
The Cosy Lodge, a new premium address
In terms of accommodation, Orelle is expanding its range with the opening of the Cosy Lodgelocated in the hamlet of Le Poucet. This renovated village house offers 7 luxury flats with a total of 43 beds.
The decor is inspired by the spirit of the mountains, while incorporating top-of-the-range services designed for families and groups of friends. With this new establishment, the resort completes its positioning between authenticity, comfort and conviviality.
