During the 2026 winter holidays, the Coeur de Chartreuse offers a series of events that are accessible to all, designed for both visiting holidaymakers and local residents. In Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse and Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont, the Tourist Office has put together a programme that is deliberately simple and friendly, combining local discoveries, creative moments and events for the very young.
With or without snow, the idea is to punctuate the days with times for sharing, favouring short, accessible formats that are rooted in village life.
Every Monday during the holiday period, the Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse Tourist Office opens the week with a welcome drink, from 4pm to 6.30pm.
Free and open to all, this event is an opportunity to meet the Office team, find out about the activities available in the area and sample local products from local craftsmen and producers.
Children have not been forgotten. Several storytelling time are scheduled during the holidays, in Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont on Wednesdays 11 and 25 February and 4 March, and in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse on Fridays 13, 20 and 27 February and 6 March, from 3pm to 4pm.
To the rhythm of Carnival
Hosted by Guillaume, these meetings invite young and old alike to take a break from the world of imagination, with stories told in a soft, intimate atmosphere. Registration is required, and costs €3 per child.
The carnival will be held in mid-February with two highlights. In Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont, a carnival procession is scheduled for Tuesday 17 February from 4pm to 5pm, with storytelling breaks in the village and a snack on the way back.
The following day, Wednesday 18 February, Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse will host a mask-making and customisation workshop, from 2pm to 5pm. The afternoon will continue with a festive walk and a shared snack. Registration is required for this workshop, which costs €2 per child.
Finally, for those who like to explore at their own pace, the games and discovery booklets are available free of charge from the two Tourist Offices throughout the holiday period. This is your chance to solve a mystery in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse or discover the secrets of Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont, with your family or friends.
