Summer 2025 promises some great mountain escapes for mountain bikers of all abilities at Serre Chevalier. The valley's Bike Park has a brand new, ambitious route: the "Grand Serre Che".
This new route, accessible from this summer, will link Briançon to Monêtier-les-Bains via the peaks of the ski area, with a return via the valley. A truly panoramic loop through the passes and emblematic villages of the Guisane valley.
A signature route between passes, peaks and villages
Designed for fans of long-distance touring, this route is directly inspired by the winter concept of linking resorts on foot.

Here, you pedal from the summit of Le Prorel, above Briançon, to Monêtier, crossing some of the most beautiful viewpoints in the valley. The return journey is a leisurely one through the valley, completing a complete itinerary that is sporty, accessible and highly immersive.
"With this new route, we wanted to connect each village from the top, just like winter skiing". explains Guillaume Bertrand, Director of Operations for Serre Chevalier Vallée Domaine Skiable. "We had to come up with a smoother, wider route that was also suitable for electric-assist mountain bikes.
A Bike Park in constant evolution
This new itinerary completes an already rich offering: 8 downhill (DH) runs - including one green, four blue, two red and one black - as well as 7 enduro runs spread across the entire resort.

These routes can be accessed directly from the ski lifts. For cross-country and long-distance enduro enthusiasts, many of the routes can still be ridden without lifts.
The resort is also focusing on family accessibility, with less strenuous circuits and routes designed for mountain bikes, which are becoming increasingly popular on the trails. The idea is to offer a playful, evolving and flexible playground where everyone can enjoy themselves according to their level and desires.
More flexible pricing for riders
Another new feature is the new ticketing system. From this summer, the domain will be offering flexible formulas for riders who want to spread out their outings: non-consecutive multi-day passes at reduced rates will enable riders to enjoy the Bike Park at their own pace, with no calendar constraints.
