Auron is the most expensive resort in the massif, with an average price of €5372 per square metre.2followed by Montgenèvre at €5241/m2 and Serre Chevalier at €4954/m2.
The Vosges and the Massif Central more affordable
For more affordable holidays, two mountain ranges stand out with lower prices.
In the Vosges and Massif Central regions, prices fell by 2.8 % and 1.1 % respectively.

In particular, Lac Blanc, nestled in the Vosges, is considered to be the cheapest ski resort in France, with an average price of 1350 euros per m2.
