Le Nid" climbing wall
It's impossible to go to Serre Chevalier without taking part in a climbing session, which is the "national sport" here. The Parc des Sports de Briançon has been awarded the "Centre de Préparation aux JO de Paris 2024" label for climbing. This means that since spring, delegations from all over the world have been able to come and train here.

Climbers will be keen to try out the "Le Nid" climbing wall. It's an outdoor climbing area of international difficulty that's open all year round. And what a wall it is! Inaugurated in July 2023, last summer it hosted the IFSC World Cup in difficulty. This summer, the difficulty event will be joined by the speed event for the very first time in Briançon. The rest of the year, the 80 difficulty routes (4a to 9a) and the speed wall are open to volunteers of all levels!

Discovery rafting on the Haute Guisane is open to children aged 6 and over. The activity, which consists of descending stretches of river with rapids caused by strong currents and possible obstacles on board an inflatable boat called a "raft", takes place over 3 hours, two of which are spent on the water.
