Initially a place of passage, the Village Plan Bois now invites visitors to linger a while by setting up a base camp for an evening and a morning, with an unusual night in between.

A programme of nature-based activities, centred around the "intimate cocoon" of local chef Isabelle Gentil. The Chalet du Plan Bois, a genuine high altitude restaurant, is undoubtedly a showcase for local produce.

- every Wednesday in winter: meet at the Plan Bois chalet in the late afternoon
- The price includes: 1 night's half-board accommodation at the Chalet du Plan Bois in the restaurant's "Chalet Trappeur" extension (bed linen provided). 2 activities: dog-sleigh ride with musher Steve Samson on Wednesday late afternoon and on Thursday morning: ski-sophrology in the forest with Karine Fromaget, ski instructor and sophrologist.
- Wednesday evening menu: aperitif kir, fondue (alternative available on request), dessert and herbal tea. Thursday morning: classic breakfast with local honey and jams.
- Bring a headlamp and a pair of après-ski boots for the evenings and activities. Shower facilities are not available.
