It's one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the Alps, and it's open in summer too. Breathtaking hikes, spectacular mountain bike routes, XXL panoramas and guaranteed fresh air: from 5 July to 29 August 2025, the 3 Vallées ski lifts will be operating in summer mode, allowing visitors to explore the summits effortlessly.
Courchevel: an active valley every day
Courchevel is open 7 days a week throughout the summer, with a complete network to reach the summits:
- Saulire cable car 9.30am - 4.30pm
- Les Verdons cable car 9.30am - 4.40pm
- Praz cable car 9.30am - 4.45pm
- La Tania cable car 9.30am - 12.30pm / 1.30pm - 4.45pm
It's an easy way to get to the higher routes or to cycle or walk back down from La Saulire.
Méribel: access 7 days a week, with one exception
The Méribel lifts operate every day from 5 July to 30 August, except for the Pas du Lac 1 and 2 gondolas, which are closed on Saturdays.
- Tougnète 1 cable car 9.30am - 4.30pm
- Tougnète 2 chairlift 9.40am - 4.30pm
- Pas du Lac 1 and 2 cable cars 9.30am - 4.30pm (6 July to 29 August, except Saturdays)
An excellent option for switching to Courchevel or climbing to the Col de la Loze on foot.
Brides-les-Bains: selective opening
If you're staying in Brides-les-Bains, take note: the Olympe 2 gondola lift will only be operating for three days this summer, on 2, 23 and 24 August, from 9.30am to 4.30pm. A targeted opening for key dates, ideal for getting to Méribel without a car.
Les Menuires & Saint-Martin-de-Belleville: a dense network
Here too, the lifts operate 7 days a week, except for the Pointe de la Masse gondola, which is closed from Thursday to Saturday.

- Rock 1 9.30am - 12.45pm / 1.30pm - 4.30pm

A great way to discover the many trails between forests, mountain pastures and ridges.
Val Thorens: sporting week, weekend off
At an altitude of 2,300 m, Val Thorens remains dynamic... but not at weekends. Its ski lifts will operate from Monday to Friday only, from 7 July to 29 August.
- Pionniers chairlift 9.15am - 4.30pm
- Funitel 3 Vallées 9.30am - 4.15pm
- Deux Lacs cable car 9.15am - 4.30pm
It's an effortless climb to the high plateaux and the signposted trails of Cime Caron.
Orelle: weekly opening
In Orelle, every Tuesday between 5 July and 31 August, you can take to the skies with the Orelle gondola, in service from 10am to 4pm.
