Events to end the season on a high
Les Sybelles is not content with just offering top-quality spring skiing, it is also banking on a dynamic programme for all those who love the thrill of the slopes. Three flagship events will punctuate the end of the season:
1. Snowskate contest at the Les Sybelles snowpark (29 March)
Snowskate, a hybrid discipline between skateboarding and snowboarding, will be in the spotlight at a festive contest open to all. Course of the day:
- 9h Welcome and registration on the La Chal snow front in Saint-Jean-d'Arves.
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. : Training and discovery of snowskate, friendly BBQ.
- 1pm-4pm Snowpark contest.
- After ride and prize-giving ceremonywith packages on offer and equipment being tested by Fullkit Grenoble.
2. Triathlon Insolite de La Toussuire - TILT (30 March)
A unique sporting challenge combining cycling, trail running and ski mountaineering on a demanding course. Course :
- 7.4 km from cycling (+524 m ascent).
- 5.2 km from trail (+170 m ascent).
- 5.5 km from ski mountaineering (+600 m ascent).
3. 37th Ski d'Or at La Toussuire (5 and 6 April)
A not-to-be-missed competition for young club skiers in France, the Ski d'Or is back for its 37th edition. On the programme:
- Slalom in two heats and parallel slalom in the final.
- Ski school parade and festive entertainment.
- Awards ceremony with the champions of tomorrow.
