It's going to be a season like no other for the Karellis. To celebrate the resort's 50th anniversary, the winter programme for 2025-2026 promises to be exceptional, with festivities, music, sporting challenges and magical moments to punctuate the coming months.
True to its collective spirit, the Savoyard resort is putting its entire community into motion - from ski patrollers to instructors, from shopkeepers to holidaymakers - for a winter of sharing and celebration.
December: opening of the season and the magic of Christmas
Le 20 DecemberLes Karellis will be kicking off this anniversary season with a festive opening eventmarking both the launch of the 50th anniversary of the the inauguration of the new space.
The Tourist Office and the ski lifts are joining forces to offer a convivial moment, with mulled wine, entertainment and music on the snow front.
From 22 to 24 Decemberthe fairytale world with Fééri'Kthe Christmas village revisited. A completely redesigned scenography will plunge young and old into an enchanted setting: magic bubble, hot chocolate, spicy wine and, of course, the traditional photo with Father Christmas.
And to round off the year in style, from 29 December to 3 Januarythe resort will live to the rhythm of the Festival, sport and mountains" weekThere will be groomer demonstrations, speed skiing and introductions to mountain professions.
January: sport, discovery and a legendary race
Le 2 Januaryand now it's time to make an effort with the Trail Blanc des Karellisorganised by the Club des Sports. Two routes are available - 5 km (165 D+) or 10 km (315 D+) - for a race under the stars in a unique mountain atmosphere.
A few days later, the 15 Januarythe station will vibrate as The Great Odyssey, the legendary international sled dog race. For the fifth stage, mushers from all over the world will be stopping off at Les Karellis, offering a breathtaking spectacle of power, endurance and animal complicity.

From 19 to 23 Januarythe public will be invited to take a look behind the scenes at the station. The "Discover the mountain professions" event will highlight the people who bring life to Les Karellis on a daily basis: ski patrollers, snow experts, snow groomer drivers and ski lift technicians. Demonstrations, guided tours and avalanche risk awareness courses will give you the chance to find out more about this unique ecosystem.
February: 50 years, the heart of the party
Le 13 Februarythe station will officially blow its 50 candles with a full day of celebrations.
From 9am, a brass band will entertain the snow front and accompany the departure of the first skiers. The afternoon will be punctuated by events throughout the estatebefore a festive after-ski from 5pm to 7pm with the Winter K'Games prize-giving ceremony.
It promises to be a memorable evening. Open-air concert from 7pm, with music and food on site. Torchlight descent for 50th anniversaryorganised by the French Ski School. Sound and light showbefore a fireworks extravaganza at 9pm to round off the day.
Two weeks of Winter K'Games (February 8 to 13 and February 22 to 27) will add to the festivities: sliding events, speed skiing, boarder cross, biathlon shooting, timed slalom... a week of challenges for young and old alike.
And because there is no winter without love, 14 Februarythe Valentine's Day will be celebrated at altitude, at the summit of Vinouve, around a wish tree and a balloon arch to capture the moment.
Finally, the 17 Februarythe mood is set with the Karnaval des Karellis with a brass band, funfair, musical parade, wooden games and fancy dress. A joyful, colourful day, in keeping with the festive spirit of the resort.
March and April: the season comes into its own in style
Le 20 Marchthe Spring Festival will be warming hearts with a flowery atmosphere, sunny music and a big concert on the snow front.
Finally, from 10 to 11 AprilThe resort will close its winter season on a sunny, offbeat note with Sk'Lage.
Deckchairs, sand, rakes, spades, sun cream and a seaside atmosphere: the spirit of the beach comes to the mountains for a weekend of relaxation at the foot of the slopes.
