In December 2023, the transformation of Transarc began, marking the first phase of an ambitious project to facilitate access to the Bows.
This first stage has been crowned with success, with the creation of a reception, advice and sales area, as well as the installation of a modern escalator, making access to the start of the Transarc from the Arc 1800 resort more fluid.

This winter, the Domaine de Montagne Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry has breathed new life into the emblematic link between Arc 1800 and the summits. POMA's new Transarc has undergone a complete transformation, with more spacious cabins offering 10 seats for enhanced comfort.
With a climb speed of 7 metres per secondthe ascent is now made in 13 minutesagainst 20 minutes before, optimising boarding fluidity.
360° panorama, mineral gallery...
At the summit, visitors can admire a 360° panoramastation, while at the intermediate station, a mineral gallery exhibits some magnificent specimens.
The new facility includes 138 cabins on a 3.4 kilometresdesigned for low power consumption. It will be operational when the ski area opens on 14 December 2024.
Next summer, visitors will be able to discover new activities along the line, such as Mountain Karting, which is accessible to all the family, or explore the mountain bike tracks and hiking trails around Arc 2000.
