Animation "Family Raid offers families the chance to take on a number of challenges over a 7km course. The programme includes an orienteering race, a mountain quiz, laser rifle shooting, a mini bike circuit and an escape game. In the end, all the courageous participants go home with medals and a great experience!

If you want to marvel at the mountain scenery and enjoy the fresh air, the 2 Alpes region is perfect. In fact, there's a huge area to explore, between the Romanche valley (Mont de Lans village), the 2 Alpes plateau and the Vénéon valley (Venosc village).

It's easy to get around Les 2 Alpes thanks to the new cable cars: the Diable and Vallée Blanche cable cars. They make it easy to reach the summits and discover new trails and walks close to Les 2 Alpes. The explorers' walk, the botanical and gourmet walk, the chamois observation walk, the slate quarry walk... All you have to do is make your choice!

White water sports
The reputation of white water sports in the Vénéon valley and at La Grave is well established: rafting, hydrospeed, hot dog, canoeing, kayaking, air boating, canyoning... there are plenty of activities for children and adults alike.

Come and try out these mountain water sports against a backdrop of picture-postcard scenery. Based in Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans and accessible in 8 minutes by the Venosc cable car, the Vénéon Eaux Vives team offers a wide range of outings.

Visit the ice cave
Situated at an altitude of 3,400 metres beneath the glacier, the ice grotto allows you to admire ice sculptures created by talented artists.

In the form of dinosaurs or mammoths, they are enhanced by the play of light and a magnificent panorama all around. In short, this is an unusual activity not to be missed!

The dinner walk
How can you combine business with pleasure? By taking part, Monday 12 August 2024the "dinner walk organised by the association "Garde le sourire, on est là! For the past five years, this organisation has been helping children with illnesses and disabilities and supporting their families.

The 11-kilometre fund-raising dinner walk starts at the orientation table above the Chalet Mounier garden and finishes on the Rue des Vikings, passing through the Diable, Lac de la Buissonnière, Vallée Blanche and Alpe de Venosc areas. Don't forget your camera to capture the best views of Les 2 Alpes!
The Mountain of hell
Legendary mountain bike race, the Mountain of Hellmore commonly known as MOH, is entering its 24th year. Friday 21 June 2024. The start of this mountain bike enduro competition is a mass start at 3,200 metres and the riders have to climb 2,300 metres to the village of Venosc.

With almost 1,000 participants in 2023, the success of the event continues to grow. Last year, youtuber Kilian Bron won the race for the 4th time, in under 23 minutes!
Hay Festival
With Hay FestivalExperience a traditional day in the colours of yesteryear.

An open-air mass, a parade in period costume, a country aperitif, hay-cutting demonstrations, folk groups, a flea market, a garage sale and the sale of regional produce are all waiting for you at this 31st edition, which will take place on 3 and 4 August 2024.

If we are to continue to marvel at the landscapes that nature has to offer, we absolutely must think about preserving them. That's why we've chosen the Collection day waste.
Organised on 7 June organised by the Town Hall, the SATA 2 Alpes ski area, the Village 1800, the Tourist Office and the Mountain Riders association, this event is an opportunity to collect winter waste, sort it and treat it, but above all to raise public awareness.

If you choose to visit the grotte des glaces (see "Outdoor activities" above), the Refuge des Glaciers high-altitude restaurant is the perfect choice. The views are some of the best in Les 2 Alpes and the food is exquisite.

Le Bistrot des Lutins
For more than 60 years, this has been THE place to go for locals, for its friendly atmosphere and quality cuisine. In the heart of the resort, it's also the place to go for home-made ice creams and a delicious spread: Loutella!

As you will have gathered, the bistro puts the emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce, prepared with passion. The menu features five dishes that change almost daily: dish of the day, burger of the moment, French Limousin entrecôte, fresh pasta and, depending on the season, soup or salad.

How to get to Les 2 Alpes
- By car
The 2 Alpes ski resort is located in a rather remote valley, in the middle of high mountains. However, it is accessible by car from the city of Grenoble. Grenoble is the closest city to Les 2 Alpes, at around 70 kilometres. Then take exit 8 Briançon, Vizille, stations de l'Oisans, then the RN 91 towards Briançon via Bourg d'Oisans. At the Chambon dam, turn right onto the D213.
- By plane
The three nearest airports are : Grenoble Alpes Isère (1h30), Lyon Saint Exupéry (2h) and Geneva Airport (2h30).
- By train
If you are travelling by rail, the easiest way is to arrive at Grenoble station. The station is then 1h15 away by car or taxi and 1h45 to 2h30 by bus.
- By bus
From Lyon airport, you can take the Flixbus or Ouibus shuttles and then the Cars Région or Transaltitude buses between Grenoble and the resort.
From Grenoble station, the Cars Région buses take you to the resort in less than 2h30, as do the Transaltitude buses. One costs €6.90 and the other €20.
Les 2 Alpes, in brief
