Between sporting competitions, electro festivals, night-time trails and festive traditions, the winter of 2025-2026 promises to be a busy one at the 2 Alps. The resort is gearing up for a season where snow, music and major popular events intertwine, to the delight of holidaymakers and locals alike.
Elite training courses starting in November and December
Winter will begin behind the scenes, with the 7th edition of the fire-extinguishers' training course organised by ANENA from 27 October to 28 November. Around a hundred professionals will be learning how to handle explosives and slow fuses to make slopes safer.

Then, from 1 to 12 December, it's time for the 20th avalanche dog handler training course. Twenty pairs will follow more than 80 hours of lessons and practical exercises in the field, to obtain the National Certificate recognised by the Ministry of the Interior.
And from 6 December, the station will take on a festive air with the return of the Rise FestivalEvery year, it attracts 8,000 Britons who enjoy a mix of skiing, electro and alpine experiences.
The magic of the festive season and winter shows
From 20 December to 4 January Christmas and end-of-year holidays will plunge Les 2 Alpes into a magical atmosphere, with torch-lit descents, fireworks, "Magic Avenue" parades and shows at the Palais des Sports. There's plenty to keep young and old alike enthralled before the start of the New Year.

In January, the youngest skiers will be competing in the Tout Schuss Cup (10-11 January), while high-altitude racing fans will enjoy the 13th edition of Lumières de la Muzelle (17 January), a unique white trail in the middle of the night, with routes ranging from 10 to 42 km.
March-April: snowboarding, mountain biking and festive trails
In spring, the Forum on careers in population protection will be back for its 2nd edition at the Palais des Sports. Gendarmes, firefighters, police and military personnel will be presenting their daily lives through workshops and demonstrations, with the aim of raising awareness and attracting new recruits.

The end of the season will be anything but an epilogue. On 4 and 5 April, it's time for the Micro KidsFrance's biggest snowboard competition for 5-11 year-olds. The following week, the mountain bikers will meet up for the Black Garden PartyWith the early opening of the legendary red Venosc piste and the new double black 'Black Garden'.
On 19 April, the freestylers will go head-to-head in the Beef Roast Rail Jam at the Toura snowpark, while trail runners will be testing their endurance at the Venosc Climbs ChallengeThe aim of this event is simple: to climb as much as possible in one day.
