Sports competitions, festivities and cultural events: The Dévoluy lives to the rhythm of a rich and varied winter calendar. Here's a round-up of the highlights, from December 2025 to April 2026.
December: motorsport and the magic of Christmas
Winter kicks off with a bang with the Dévoluy Winter Rally (5 to 7 December). The only national winter rally in France, it brings together 110 crews for three days of action on snow-covered roads, with 120km of special stages.
Le 13 Decemberis replaced byOpening the pistes Special events, discovery of the ski area and special offers on ski passes mark the official launch of the ski season.
From 21 to 28 Decemberthe Christmas enchantment transform the resort: torchlight descents, fire shows, fireworks, illuminations, the arrival of Father Christmas and the Christmas Magic Parc make for an enchanting week.
Finally, the month closes with theSnow Volley Open (29 to 31 December), the fifth edition of this original 3×3 tournament. The 29th is reserved for amateurs, the 30th and 31st for professionals.
January: trail and freeride on the programme
Le 4 Januarythe Dévol'Ice Trail offers two 100 % snow routes of 8 or 16 km, solo or in pairs, between Superdévoluy and La Joue du Loup.
Le 17 Januarythe resort is hosting a stage of the Freeride World Qualifier (rated 2*) and Junior Tourconfirming its place on the international circuit.
February: celebrating on the summits
The winter holidays will be punctuated by torch-lit descents, ski shows, fireworks and "Magic Avenue" parades, all real highlights for families looking for entertainment.
March: Olympic flavours and a passion for monoskiing
The 13 and 14 Marchthe Dévoluy will host the Winter Olympic Days. Friday will be devoted to schoolchildren, while Saturday will be open to the general public, with a number of snow disciplines being showcased in the run-up to the 2030 Games.
The 21 and 22 Marchthe Monoski Skawl Dévoluy will bring together enthusiasts and the curious. The French Monoski Association will be offering free tests and competitions (slalom, speed, parallel).
April: festivals and festive closing
The 4 and 5 Aprilthe second edition of the Dévoluy Mix Festival will be inviting international DJs and a festive atmosphere at 2000 metres altitude, between snow and spring sunshine.
Le 11 Aprilthe station will draw to a close with a day of end of season BBQ, refreshment bar and waterslide in the snowpark.
With 2026 already in sight
December 2026 will mark a double anniversary: the 50 years of La Joue du Loup and 60 years of Superdévoluywhich are shaping up to be a not-to-be-missed highlight.
