A new, unusual race, revamped services and refurbished flagship addresses: La Toussuireat the heart of the Sybelles ski area, is preparing for a winter season full of surprises. Here's an overview.
A unique mountain triathlon
On 29 March 2026, La Toussuire will host the TILT - La Toussuire Unusual Triathlon. A unique mountain challenge combining three disciplines: cycling (7.4km and 524m of ascent), trail running (5km and 170m of ascent) and ski mountaineering (600m of ascent).
Participants will set off from Fontcouverte to reach the snow front, before completing two trail loops and two ski-mountaineering climbs to the summit of Côte du Bois.
Open to all levels of ability, the event can be run solo or in trios, so you can share the adventure with your team-mates. For this first event, the resort will also be showcasing three of its ambassadors: William Turnes (cycling), Lorna Bonnel (ski mountaineering) and Lionel Bonnel (trail).
Modernised services
After seven months of work, Tourist Office is getting a makeover. Bright, functional spaces, a multi-purpose room, outdoor toilets, a lift and even a coworking area: visitors can now enjoy a warmer, more modern welcome.
Another new feature is the opening of a Carrefour Montagne. This strategic store, located in the Rive Droite district, will offer a year-round food offering, accommodation integrated into the building and a car park reserved for customers.
The return of the Les Alpes restaurant
The emblematic restaurant of La Toussuire The Alps will reopen its doors at the beginning of December 2025 after a major interior renovation. The oldest building in the resort, it has been given a new look, highlighting its bar area and concert stage.
The project is supported by Charlotte and Charlestwo young socio-professionals who took over the establishment in 2022 with a clear ambition: to breathe new life into this historic venue and turn it into a place for socialising and sharing, right at the heart of the resort.
