Learn to ski... but without pressure, without complexes, and with a good dose of conviviality. That's the aim of the very first Ski Festival launched by Les Gets, from 21 to 28 March 2026. A week designed for adult beginners, combining supervised skiing, well-being activities and festive evenings in one of the most accessible ski areas in the Alps.
The Haute-Savoie resort has come up with a truly immersive format, aimed at young adults aged 18 and over who have never dared to take the plunge, or who have mixed memories of their first descents.
Located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Les Gets is capitalising on its wide, gentle and well-exposed slopes to launch this new event called the week of first turns.
The principle is simple. Each morning, participants take part in group ski or snowboard lessons, supervised by ESF or ESI instructors. In the afternoon, it's time for shared experiences. Four-season sledging, skating, snowshoeing, spa, torchlit descents... before extending the day with DJ sets and convivial evenings.
skiing in the morning, letting go in the afternoon
One format «half sport, half pleasure», This is a week with friends, where everyone progresses at their own pace, surrounded by people of the same level. To make the experience affordable, the resort is offering an all-inclusive package from 399 euros.
It includes a six-day Les Gets-Morzine ski pass, six days of group lessons, full equipment hire (skis or snowboard, boots, helmet), a four-season tobogganing evening, an ice-skating evening with skates and entry to the Les Sources du Chéry spa.
There will also be afternoon entertainment, access to the closing evening party and a host of benefits from local partners. Accommodation must be booked separately, but preferential rates are offered by the associated accommodation providers.
