As the fine weather arrives in the valley, Courchevel remains clinging to the mountains, true to its tradition of high intensity. In April, the Savoyard resort continues to build on the momentum of the winter season by hosting two flagship events, tailor-made for fans of skiing, physical challenges and high altitude entertainment.
Winter Legacy by Alexis Pinturault: skiing in all its forms
On 12 April, Courchevel champion Alexis Pinturault returns home to orchestrate one of the most spectacular events on the calendar: the Winter Legacy. This atypical competition, devised by the skier with multiple crystal globes, breaks with the traditional codes of alpine events.
Just one round, five disciplines - moguls, giant slalom, ski cross, super-G and waterslide - and a start format in fours, just like the parallel World Cup races. The competitors set off at full speed in a breathless sequence, where endurance, versatility and risk-taking make all the difference.

Three categories are open: a solo event, a team format (where the time is taken at the finish of the last team), and a junior race for the youngest (9-14 years), all in a deliberately festive atmosphere.
Alongside the course, an entertainment village awaits the public, with ski trials, DJ sets, waterslides, electric scooters on snow, laser shooting, tombola... The show is also on outside the nets. The event is also an opportunity to meet the stars of the French team, including Clément Noël and Cyprien Sarrazin, who have come to support their local team-mates.
Dynastar X3 Courchevel: raw effort
The following day, it's time for another challenge: the "Dynastar X3", a vertical triathlon that has become an institution. For this 12ᵉ edition, participants will have to link up three disciplines - cycling, trail running, ski-mountaineering - on an exceptional course linking the valley to the summit of the Saulire.

The figures speak for themselves: 13.9km and 930m of ascent by bike, 6.3km and 180m of ascent/descent by trail, then 4.8km and 950m of ascent by ski touring. A demanding total ascent, but open to all those who want to measure themselves or experience an extraordinary sporting adventure.

The X3 can be run solo for the most highly trained, or in a three-person relay, in an atmosphere of sharing and admiration for the great outdoors. Every year, the event attracts both top athletes and passionate amateurs, in an atmosphere that is both demanding and welcoming.
