Two major sporting events will be taking place in Courchevel this summer: the Björka X3 and the Millet XTrail.

Björka X3, a triathlon unlike any other in the world
This exceptional triathlon will take place in Courchevel on Sunday 21 July 2024 and will comprise three events.
Starting at 10.30am, 6,000m of rowing will take place on ergometers outdoors, opposite the Olympic ski jumps at Courchevel Le Praz. A DJ will provide the atmosphere and the event will be broadcast live on a giant screen.
After that, the cycling event will take over with a 12.2km course and 750m of ascent to the Courchevel altiport, situated at an altitude of 2006m.

Finally, the triathlon will finish with a 9.6km trail race with 550m of positive and negative gradient, including a final sprint up the royal road, offering a spectacular view of Mont Blanc in the background.
In all, the course covers 27.8 km with a total positive altitude difference of 1300 m, finishing at an altitude of 2006 m! This unusual triathlon is designed for enlightened amateurs and specialists alike, who can take part solo or in a trio. All participants will receive a finisher's medal at the finish.

Millet XTrail, a gentle Ultra Trail
The Millet XTrail Courchevel offers you the chance to take a gentle introduction to the Ultra Trail in the heart of exceptional scenery, with a passage through the Vanoise National Park on Sunday 4 August 2024.
The only one of its kind in France, this event offers 6 distances (11, 22, 33, 44, 55 and 66 km) with a single entry fee and a common start.

You will choose your distance during the race, according to the time limits, and will be reimbursed at the finish according to the distance covered.
To obtain the title of "XTrailer" and qualify for the UTMB, you will have to pass all the time barriers, cross the 7 passes on the 66 km course and climb the 4100 m of positive ascent!
