Not to be missed Saint-Nicolas Church, Combloux's Baroque treasure trove
The church of Saint-Nicolas in Combloux is a masterpiece of Alpine Baroque art. Built between 1702 and 1704, this majestic church, dedicated to Saint Nicolas, is notable for its double-bubble bell tower, considered to be the finest in Savoyard bulbary art.
Destroyed during the Revolution and rebuilt in 1828, it has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1971. Inside, the carved wooden altarpiece, stained glass windows and organ from Nevers cathedral add to the splendour of this must-see monument in the Mont Blanc region.
