With a 25 % increase in sales over last year - a new summer record - Ax 3 Domaines enjoyed a successful summer season. The Pyrenean resort owes its success in part to a brand new activity: the devalkart.
This was the big news of the summer from theAx 3 Domaines. And the least we can say is that the resort's new flagship activity did not disappoint.
"The devalkart was a huge success, says Jacques Murat, Marketing Director of the Ariège-based resort. In August, we were fully booked every day.
It's a success that has already prompted the resort to expand its offer for the coming summer season.
A new steeper track announced
"This year, we used a forest path, which is also used as a green trail in winter. It's around 7 km long and has a 700 metre gradient, offering a much-appreciated forest panorama and a descent lasting just over 30 minutes, explains Jacques Murat.

Next year, we're planning to add a brand new, sportier, steeper and more technical 3.5km track, complete with banked corners. We hope this will meet demand.
This new run will be accessible, like the first, from the top of the detachable 6-seater Lièvre Blanc chairlift. As a reminder, Ax 3 Domaines will be celebrating its 70th anniversary on 11 January 2025.
